In the past, if we upgraded a users mail file template from his workstation ( believe me there are people that still do this !!!) we have had to go in and upgrade the design of the folders  manually from the menu .

But now with version 8.x we can get it done at one go.....   (or did I miss it in earlier versions??) Dont think so!

Actually you could. The load convert command which allows you to do multiple file names with a -f switich also allows the -u which updates the folder design.

For example if you ran load update -f-u "c:\mailfiles.txt" mail8.ntf it would go through each line in the mail files (path of each mail file on the server needed for design updates) and update the design to the mail8.ntf template and replace the design of each with the inbox folder.

I don't recall seeing that is earlier versions. That is a very helpful feature. I always wondered why it wasn't handled previously.
