I started out my career in lotus notes by sheer accident in December 1995 in a small (not so small now!) software company in India, when my boss came and put a huge yellow box on my table that said Lotus Notes 3.0 and said "if you want your job, figure this product out!". There are 2 old 286 based machines lying in the corner , see if you want to use them". Trust me that was the most frustrating part of the long journey cos one of those machines ran OS/2 and I had to install Notes on that. But since then there has been no turning back.
Today, when I look back 12 years, I would say that was probably one of the best things that any one ever did to me. Domino is now not just a product but rather a passion for me. Though there were times when I was doubtful about the future (more precisely when Domino 6.0 was released) but that was just a small rough patch I guess.
I live in Altanta and work as a senior domino consultant .
So in short, here I still am doing domino passionately and with ver 8.01 around the corner and 8.5 a few months down the road, it sure looks like am in the haul
